Whoo-hoo! Back on track. Spent some time removing the undercoating from the driver’s side wheel well. The undercoating is a devil in disguise - I’m glad it’s there to protect the metal underneath, but it’s a pain to remove. I’m using a propane torch to soften it and then using a wooden paint stir stick to scrape it off. So far, so good!
The area where the outter wheel well attaches to the trunk pan and trunk extensions is pretty chewed up. I’m gonna see if a new peice of metal can be put in there rather than replacing the outter well.
